X-Rated Adult Movie Posters of the 60s and 70s

THE 1960s and 70s are said to be the golden age of sex movies, and this collection of posters from that time is absolutely outstanding. Nourmand and Marsh have collated some very rare prints in this book, the first ever to be produced on the subject of X-rated film posters.

The movies were extremely controversial when they were released, and the adverts for them were often discarded, which makes this collection extremely rare.

In the 1955 included in the book is the famous poster for the hit film Emmanuelle, featuring the well-known tag line ‘X was never like this’. The film, released in 1974, was one of only two adult films ever to be shown in mainstream cinema, with the other being The Story Of O.
